04 / Capabilities

Connecting buyers, sellers and markets — properly documented.

We work in international commodity markets as a connector and coordinator: establishing credible relationships between buyers and sellers, and holding any transaction to verification, documentation and disciplined process.

Commodities

Relationships verified, then transactions coordinated.

Commodity markets reward those who know who is genuinely on the other side of a conversation. Most failures are failures of counterparty quality, documentation or sequencing rather than of price.

Our role is to establish and maintain credible commercial relationships, to introduce and connect counterparties where the fit is real, and to coordinate the steps a transaction requires — verification, terms, documentation, logistics partners and settlement mechanics.

We do not speculate on behalf of clients, and we do not represent volumes, origins or counterparties that have not been verified. Every engagement is subject to diligence and to the applicable legal, regulatory and trade requirements of the parties and jurisdictions involved.

Key capabilities

What the mandate can include.

01
International sourcing
Identification of credible supply and demand across international markets, verified before any introduction is made.
02
Buyer and seller relationships
Long-term commercial relationships maintained on both sides of the market, so that a connection is more than a name.
03
Market access
Access to physical and financial commodity markets through established channels and specialists.
04
Transaction coordination
Coordination of terms, documentation, inspection, logistics partners and settlement mechanics through to completion.
05
Trading and commercialisation
Support for the commercialisation of commodity flows, structured around the requirements of both counterparties.
06
Exposure management
Price, currency, counterparty and delivery exposure identified and addressed as part of the structure.

Our approach

How a commodity engagement proceeds.

  1. 01

    Establish the requirement

What is sought, by whom, on what terms and within what timeframe.

  2. 02

    Verify the counterparty

Both sides are examined before any introduction. Unverified parties are not progressed.

  3. 03

    Agree the terms

Commercial terms, procedures and responsibilities are documented before a transaction moves.

  4. 04

    Coordinate the process

Inspection, documentation, logistics and settlement steps are sequenced and tracked.

  5. 05

    Close and review

Completion is confirmed against the documentation, and the process is reviewed for the next engagement.

Why clients work with us

Discipline before volume.

  • Verification before introduction

We would rather make no introduction than an unverified one.

  • Documentation-led

Procedures and responsibilities are written down before goods, funds or instruments move.

  • Relationships, not listings

We work through counterparties we know, on both sides of the market.

  • Discreet by default

Counterparties, terms and volumes are never referenced publicly.

This page describes capabilities in general terms. It is not an offer or solicitation, and it does not represent that any particular commodity, volume, counterparty or transaction is available. All engagements are subject to diligence, documentation and applicable legal, regulatory and trade requirements.
